Mireille is an Interior Architect from Lebanon. After 10 years working in the Design world while painting part time, in 2015 she decided to use her knowledge and sense of design and redirected her efforts fully to the fine arts.
“My artwork is meant to be experienced; each piece transports you and lets your experience an altered consciousness of how I see or feel the world.” The emotional response that is triggered when the viewer makes a connection with her piece is the drive for Mireille’s work.
Mireille Salti is an abstract expressionist artist whose work is an evolution of the innovative pouring art technique. Color combinations and movement are the main elements of Mireille Salti’s paintings.
She finds her inspiration in the patterns and randomness of nature; anything from our inner biological being to the vast celestial bodies. Her experience and many experiments with materials and viscosity allow her to interpret what inspires her on a canvas through the controlled chaos of fluid abstract art. She has cultivated a unique process that marries the randomness of flow with the intentional brushstrokes. The outcome is always an individual piece that celebrates the beauty around.
