Recovery is a collection of paintings inspired by positive events and realizations that happened as a result of the pandemic. Each piece recognizes a defining moment that took place in our lives; a moment of realization and appreciation.

Life as we knew it came to a grinding halt and we learnt to gracefully accept that which we could not control. But in doing so we unintentionally invested our energy attending to our immediate surroundings. We found different ways to create an atmosphere of warm, cozy and unapologetic comfort that stimulates contentment and wellbeing. Whether it being a corner for our new home office or the sofa that we could sink into and feel safe, we drew happiness from the familiar.

The work has been finished with a satin varnish, protecting the artwork from dust and UV light. The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and is signed on the back of the canvas. Colours and textures may vary slightly depending on the device on which the images are viewed.
