This painting is inspired by the stories of unknown faces. The shadows created by the texture in the composition mimic the remnants of past lives. The watery puddles of paint that stain the canvas reference the tears faces shed. 

Just as a water mark leaves traces of its presence, the tears stain the sadness into the folds of our memories.

Tapestry of a Life is a collection of paintings inspired by how I made sense of the feelings caused by events that affected me over the past few months.

The work has been finished with a satin varnish, protecting the artwork from dust and UV light. The artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity and is also signed on the back of the canvas. Colours and textures may vary slightly depending on the device on which the images are viewed.
